Overview: Participants will understand how trends in disability statistics will impact state and local government services, they will build awareness of the elements of physical access, and learn to identify the requirements of planning for Title II compliance, while increasing their knowledge of reasonable modifications to programs and services.

Overview: This program was designed to build awareness of the impact and benefits of the ADA on privately held business, to increase awareness of the basic accessibility  requirements of Title III of the ADA, to build knowledge of the size and composition of the market of people with disabilities, and to build awareness of the elements of physical access.

Serving Customers with Disabilities

Overview: This program is for employees, employers, and corporations to help them build awareness of the disability trends that impact customer service, understand how people with disabilities evaluate a business, and increase the skills of business when serving customers with disabilities.

Overview:  This program is designed for employees with and without disabilities, employers, and corporations. It aims to build awareness of disabilities as a source of diversity and not as a source of deficit. It allows participants to become familiar with the current demographic trends related to disabilities while building their skills in communicating and interacting with people with all types of disabilities.

Overview:   This program is designed for individuals living with a disability themselves, and aims to increase their awareness of the contribution that they can make to the world of work while explaining the employment provisions of the ADA, and introducing the concept of disclosure.

Overview:   This program helps organizations identify potential barriers to web page access for individuals with disabilities, identifies costs and benefits for businesses and organization creating accessible web pages and describes the United States laws which may have a bearing on whether businesses and education institutions are required to make their web sites accessible.

Accessible Technology in the Workplace

Overview:   This program aims to identify the workforce trends that will lead to an increased demand for assistive technology in the coming years. Participants will understand how technology, as a reasonable accommodation, fits into the technology environment of the organization. They will also identify the steps needed for evaluating and implementing assistive technology as an accommodation in the workplace, and understand the benefits of technology-related accommodation for an employee with a disability.
