PROGRAM OVERVIEW:

Career Gateway aims at providing job readiness skills to individuals aged 17 to 25 years of age who are eligible for Division of Vocational Rehabilitation Services.  This program offers participants an 18 week classroom style course focusing on independent living skills and job readiness skills. In addition all participants will par-take in three job exploration experiences based on their personal and vocational assessments.  Upon completion of the program, individuals will participate in a peer networking group known as the “Career Club”.  Career Gateway is a comprehensive course designed to provide a smooth transition from school to work and /or post-secondary training with a goal of competitive employment.  Progressive Center will be conducting courses at both Mercer and Hunterdon locations.
